Ah the duck face. Women that do duck faces are truly the best. It isn't because they are so hot of course, it is because they think they are making a face that makes them look hot, but in reality they just look incredibly stupid, which is kind of hot in itself. This may sound confusing, but it is the truth. The duck face is truly a phenomenon. It is almost impossible to figure it out.
Of course the duck face is mostly done by girls in middle school trying to look cool, or chicks doing selfies in really bad clubs in really lame towns, but celebrities, some of them anyway, really love the duck face. Which is awesome for us because we can see that these hot celebrities are really just awkward middle school girls, trying to look hot and failing miserably.
What follows is a list of celebrities trying to look hot with the duck face, and instead looking incredibly stupid. One would think they would just, you know, stop, but I tend to doubt it. I don't think anything can stop the duck face at this point.

15. Jessica Simpson
If you had to guess the type of woman that would make the duck face, then good old Jessica Simpson would be at the top of that list. She has that perfect combination of hot and totally numb that usually signifies one that does the duck face. In this photo, the top half of Jessica's face still manages to look kind of hot, while the bottom half looks like she is going for something out of Planet of the Apes. Think that kind of thing is what she was looking for? Me either.
14. Christina Aguilera
Alright, we admit this is just a bad photo of Christina and maybe we shouldn't have used it. And really why is it fair to use a bad photo of someone as an example of why duck faces are so lame? Well, it is because she is making a duck face. This isn't the only one we found when looking, she tries the duck face a lot. When you make a duck face, all bets are off. So yes Christina tried to look hot here, but instead ended up looking like she has an IQ of 73. Why is that? Because she had a duck face fail.
13. Beyonce
Good old Beyonce. Stunning, talented, a great body, married to one of the biggest players in the business - she has it all going on. So why break out the duck face? We honestly have no idea. This is not even close to being the worst duck face on the list, mostly because of the cleavage. But the horrible duck face still stands out, purely because it proves the point that even huge stars like Beyonce get sucked into the duck face vortex. And it isn't pretty. It never is when it comes to the duck face.
12. Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer is hot, there is no doubt about that, she looks great for a woman in her 40's. But seriously, knock off the duck face. When you are 47 you really have no business at all trying to pull this look off. In fact people that are 17 don't even have any business trying to pull this look off. Jennifer, you are a classy babe, knock off the duck face. You want to be trying to pull this off when you are 50? I think not, or at least I hope not. Life is too short for duck faces.

Boy that chick in the hospital making a duck face sure is hot! Bar is a very wealthy and successful model from Israel, which makes this duck face all the more confusing. What is she thinking? She is in the hospital having a mole removed and decides to throw gang signs and do a major duck face? Yeah good thinking. It just doesn't work, and is one of the more perfect examples of why a duck face is so lame. It is impossible to make a duck face without trying way too hard.
10. Miley Cyrus
There are a ton of photos out there with Miley doing the duck face. She has been rocking this face through every aspect of her career and shows no sign of slowing down. Her duck face is usually a little more subtle than some that we see on this list, but does she look hot making it? No, not at all. Unless you think celebrities looking dumb are hot of course. Which most of us do. So I guess I should just say, thanks for all the awesome duck faces Miley. You do us all proud.
9. Janice Dickinson
Janice is a huge duck face fail. I know she was hot once, maybe back in 1987 or so, but now she just looks ridiculous, and all of these horrible duck faces don't help at all. I mean come on! If you looked really quickly at this photo you would think you were looking at a photo of a catcher's mitt doing a duck face. Those lips are absolutely frightening. This duck face is what nightmares are made of. Janice, please stop.

Okay so Selena we can cut a little bit of slack too, mostly because she is so young, and is one of the world's biggest stars. All of her friends are doing the duck face all the time in real life, so I am sure a lot of it seems natural for her to break it out from time to time. It has to be a lot of pressure trying to figure out what kind of pose to do for a photo, we get that, we really do. No offense meant. But Selena, here is a pro tip for you. When you do the duck face, you look kinda dumb.

Heidi is another superstar that should know better than to rock the duck face. She has been around for a long time, and is one of the most famous and well respected models in the world. So what is it with her working the duck face? I know she is trying to come off all sexy here, but it is not happening; it really looks like she is constipated. This is a total duck face fail, and it hurts all the more because Heidi is usually just so darn cool.
6. Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay has failed at a whole lot of things over her life time, and pulling off a decent duck face is one of them. I have seen better duck face photos of her than this one, but none that really pull off her vibe any better, this one really nails it. Is your career going down the drain? Do you have legal problems? Are your looks fading? Do you need to go back to rehab? No problem. Just put on a duck face and people will think you are hot and glamorous.

This photo of Adriana is a really good example of the perils of the duck face. Adriana is hot, she truly is. Totally gorgeous, and yet here she is making herself look like a simpleton by putting on this horrendous duck face. I say this not because I want to make fun of her, I say it because it simply is baffling. Some of these women need some serious duck face aversion therapy, or maybe even a duck face shock collar. Something has to be done before it is too late.

Ariana has the same sort of scene as Selena Gomez. Yes she looks dumb. Very dumb in fact. No she shouldn't do any more duck faces. But you have to give her a tiny bit of credit, purely because of the fact that she is so young and famous. When you are young and famous in a world full of duck faces what do you do? Well, you make duck faces of course. Here is hoping that as she gets more mature she stops thinking that photos like this are cool.

Jenny has no excuses. She has been around for a while, as a model, author and comedienne, and really just should know better than to be making duck faces at her age. She also tends to exaggerate her facial expressions in general, so what might not be a horrible duck face on one person, is a totally horrible duck face on Jenny. To be fair she is pretty hot, and she doesn't make the duck face often, so we would give her a pass, except for the fact that this duck face is so bad.

It is hard to tell if Kim Kardashian is making a duck face, or if Kim is in actuality a really hot duck. I mean Kim doesn't really do a duck face, her face actually is a duck face. It is like she made the duck face so many times that now her face is permanently frozen in this position. Pretty much every photo that Kim takes is a duck face. Or maybe I should say every photo this duck takes is a Kim face. I really can't tell anymore.

Of all the duck faces on this list, Nicki Minaj probably has the worst one of them all. Yes she is hot, and yes she has a great body, but when she does the duck face, which she does often, it all just falls apart. She goes from being this really hot pop and rap star to something that looks really bizarre. Why doesn't she just stop? Why does she keep doing the duck face when it makes her look so bad? These are questions I simply cannot answer.
