We’ve often heard and witnessed how a child can be a spitting image of their parent but it seems that Candace Cameron-Bure and her daughter Natasha Bure take it to another level. Candace is 42 years old and mostly recognized from her role as D.J. Tanner on the late ‘80s and ‘90s sitcom Full House, which got reprised by Netflix in 2016 as Fuller House. She has since been on a number of family orientated tv shows including Dancing With The Stars and The View in 2016. Her daughter Natasha, on the other hand, is 19 years old and is slowly making a name for herself in the industry. In case you didn’t notice, there is a 22 year age gap between the two but who would have known? The two practically look like sisters and nothing like a parent and child.
I’m sure it was fun at first for the two to be likened to each other but one can’t help but think if the teenager likes to be mistaken for her 42-year-old mom. I mean, who would? No matter how good looking your mom is. It becomes even more difficult to tell them apart when they start going out dressed similarly. Do they have the same stylist or something? The Last Time They Looked Like Mother And Daughter
So I thought it would be appropriate to start things off with a pic of probably the last time it was very clear that the two are mother and daughter. Natasha was just 11 years old and her mother 33 when they attended JCPenney’s “Joy of Giving” event, which raised money for the Tijuana Casa Hogar Sion orphanage and benefited Friends of El Faro. I guess you teach them at a young age the importance of giving back so well done to Candace. This is probably why the young girl is so level-headed, as opposed to the many celebrity kids who go from cute to unruly very fast as they grow older.
Candace was a young mother at just 22 years old when she had Natasha, and it seems as though she never quite wrapped her head around their age difference. “It is a little freaky because I don’t feel old enough to have middle school child. She’s still a mommy’s girl…” Well, mommy’s girl or not, Mother Nature soon took over and the little girl grew to the beautiful young lady we know today and in the process, started to look more and more like her mother’s sister than her daughter.
The First Time We Got A Glimpse Of This
Candace has made many red carpet appearances with Natasha. This one, in particular, was at the 2012 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. From this event, the two were already starting to look more and more like there isn’t much of an age gap between them. From the many pics of them sharing the red carpet together, it is clear that Natasha is getting older (naturally, of course), while it seems as though her mother is appearing more and more young. How does that work?
There have been quite a number of rumors that Candace might have gone under the knife in order to achieve her youthful look. According to numerous plastic surgery websites, she is said to have had a facelift, nose job, botox, facial fillers and chin implants. Candace, on the other hand, has not responded to these accusations but attributes her youthful look to her mostly plant-based diet as she generally eats vegan food. She told Cosmopolitan: “When you’re hired to play a specific role and look a certain way, it’s something that you have to keep up with, especially being on a television series.” Well, whether she's done so naturally or with a little help from her favorite doctor, the results have been amazing.
The Hands On Hips, Side Look Pose
Now, here’s where the squinting as we try to figure out who is who begins. In case you’re wondering, Candace is on the left in the white gown, while Natasha is on the right in the black gown. You can be forgiven for being a little confused at first I mean, they even have the “hands on hips with a slight look to the side pose” going on.
As she’s gotten older, Natasha is no longer attached to her mother’s hip (I mean, which 19 year old wants to be). As evident on her social media pages, the young lady is going out more and more on her own or with friends and she knows how to step out in class. The girl wore this beautiful floor length dress with embroidery to her prom back in 2016 and her social media followers were in awe of the look. Her mother was also proud, posting the look on her account as well.
Mama Candace also knows how to step out in class. Perhaps that’s where the daughter gets it from. The mother of 3 wore this white dress and finished the look with a bold necklace and simple clutch. The crazy thing is that these pics were taken at completely different occasions. Do they practice their poses and share tips like sisters?
The Mini Look
Now which girl doesn’t have a couple of minis in her closet for those hot days or for when you’re just feeling yourself? Well, it seems like Candace and Natasha are no different to the rest of us. The two definitely know how to rock a mini. The legs game in that gene pool is on point!
Candace wore her black mini, long-armed dress with thigh-high boots while Natasha kept things casual with a simple cropped T and an oversized sweater. Regarding the hair length and color, it is clear that the two go to the same stylist. It is again difficult to realize that there is actually a 22 year age gap between these two here and I have to add that Candace is certainly bringing her A game in terms of looking much younger than she really is.
Besides her strict diet, Candace told Cosmopolitan that she attributes her workout regimen to the body she has now in her 40s. “I’m more fit today at 40 than I’ve ever been at any other time in my life”. Well, we’d have to agree because her body would certainly make any 19 year old jealous.
Mom Stole My Look
Sometimes you don’t have to wear bright colors to get attention. Sometimes the minimalistic look is all a girl needs to look fly when stepping out. Grey caught the attention of this mom and daughter duo and I must say, they really rocked it well. Now I don’t know about you, but the color grey never looked this good on me.
The great thing about fashion is that even though you may wear similar clothing items, how you style yourself individually will offer you a completely different look. It is therefore great to see how different people choose to wear different clothing pieces because it reveals a lot about what they are into.
Candace and Natasha must be shopping from the same clothing stores. They even have a similar cut hairstyle. Well, in case you were wondering, Natasha’s look is on the left and she’s added a pair of sunglasses to complete her chic look. Candace, on the other hand, decided to take this same look and make it more casual by wearing her hair loosely and adding a casual white T-Shirt.
Personally, I’m crazy about how Natasha styled her look so I would say that mom may have stolen her look but she definitely rocked it better.
They Have Us Seeing Double
The Bure ladies don’t have to work hard to look good and 29 000 of Natasha’s Instagram followers agreed. The most striking thing about this image is probably the soft, everyday makeup both the women have. They kind of make you feel like you too can just put on a black T-Shirt and necklace and achieve this look effortlessly.
In this particular image, Candace (who is on the right of the pic, behind her mother, by the way) looks like her mother’s younger sister. The look is topped off with soft waves to their short hair. Many of us have seen a number of shows that Candace has been on. I mean, she is practically a Hallmark queen. Well, Natasha may not want to be a Hallmark queen but she definitely seems to be following in her mother’s footsteps regarding building a career for herself in front of the camera.
The 19-year-old made her modeling debut at the 2016 New York Fashion Week in the Sherri Hill show and seems to not have stopped since. Her mother was very excited and felt proud of her daughter as she told USMagazine: “I’m not nervous, but I totally a momager right now! She’s so confident, which makes me confident, and we’re excited for her”. Well, she walked the catwalk with ease and seemed to be a natural so it seems as though we definitely will be seeing more of her.
Casual All The Way
The Bure ladies do not seem to like bright colors because again, they have opted for soft and washed out blue hues for both of these looks. Candace can be seen on the left. She has paired her denim with a simple White T-Shirt and has put her striped cardigan around her waist to complete this look.
Her daughter Natasha is on the right of the image with her striped and loose fitted shirt that is paired with black jeans and her hair is also much darker than her mothers. I would have to say that Natasha killed this effortless look – love the red lipstick to add a pop of color to the look.
You know how real sisters often exchange or borrow each other’s clothes? Well, Candace and Natasha seem to do this and also share some tips. This is probably the reason why they will often be seen at different events on different dates but have similar looks on. Candace told Usmagazine: “I do ask Natasha because she has a great eye for fashion. So if I’m choosing between shoes or jewelry or a belt, an accessory, I always go with whatever she tells me looks best – and vise versa too!”
Matchy Monday
Jeans have been around for millennia and are a great item to have in anyone’s closet. Whether you’re tall, short, skinny or fuller figured, there is a good pair of jeans out there for all our shapes. The great thing about a good pair of jeans is also how it will make you feel good when wearing it as it hugs all the right places. In case you didn’t know, the first jean was invented all the way back in the 1870s by Jacob W. Davis and Levi Strauss & Co. The first jeans were, of course, the classic “blue jeans” and over the years, designers have really come through with offering a whole array of differently styled and colored jeans.
Candace and Natasha also seem to like themselves a good pair of jeans. What is interesting about this image is how the jeans are in completely different colors but the style of the jeans (ripped knees) make them correspond. In this look, Natasha is on the right and has paired her jeans with a sleeveless top. Her mother, on the other side, has gone for a dark blue jean with washed out thighs. She’s also finished the look off with a loose ponytail. Even though both ladies look good, I’d have to give this one to mom, who somehow manages to look just as good next to her beautiful 19-year-old.
Seriously...Are They Sisters?
Okay, so in case you were still not sure, it is clear that both ladies can rock a bob cut. Not only can they both rock a bob, but if they’re giving each other clothing style advise as we’ve covered on the list, surely they’re also giving each other hairstyle advice? This look has Natasha on the right at her New York Fashion Week debut back in 2016 when the young lady had barely just turned 18.
As we know, most fashion models tend to be on the stick thin side and most women’s bodies do not look like that. It is therefore refreshing to see a healthy-looking young lady walk the runway and show young girls that you don’t have to starve yourself to have model aspirations.
Backstage at the show, Natasha told ET: “I’ve been practicing my walk since I was like, five years old. I’d literally be in my room and pretend that I was on a runway. So I feel like my walk is good, but I guess we’ll find out.” Well, the practice seemed to have paid off since she did well on the runway. Although they are both heading in different directions in the entertainment industry, it seems like this mother and daughter duo are in sync with their styles.
It Definitely Runs In The Family
Anyone can be forgiven for thinking that these two look more like sisters than mother and daughter, even when they’re dressed completely differently. It seems then that the pair doesn’t even have to try. In this look, the ladies may have been coordinated, but it is clear that they were trying to each have their own moment to shine because hey, blood or not, who doesn’t want their moment on the red carpet, especially when you’re arriving with someone who looks like you!

They Have The Same Smile
Okay, so we’re in the top 5 on the list and hopefully, by now, I’ve convinced you that the ladies look more like sisters than mother and daughter. You also probably think that the reason why they do is because of the fact that I’ve mostly been having images of them dressed similarly – I mean, even with a distant cousin of mine, if we’re dressed similarly, we’re going to look alike. Well, now at number 5, I bring you Candace and Natasha Bure dressed and styled completely differently but hey, they still could pass as sisters.
This had me wondering if it actually has something to do with their smile. They seem to know how to “smize”. Perhaps Tyra Banks gave them a few lessons. For this look, Candace is on the left and she’s dressed in a white cropped top and black leather skirt which is belted at the waist, while Natasha is in a white, loose-flowing dress. The pair were at the 2018 Kids Choice Awards. Again, the ladies both look amazing so it is clear that their fashion sense is on point but I must say that Candace knocked this look right out the park. She looked very youthful and looks like she came to have a good time after all, it is the Kids Choice Awards.
Thigh Slit Girls
In case you're wondering, Natasha is this time on the left in the white thigh-high slit dress while her mother is on the right in a popping red skirt. What good is a Hollywood mom when she can't hook you up with the best stylists and clothing that a girl can ask for, right? Well, Natasha seems to think so as she's admitted to ET that she regularly goes into her mom's closet and picks out some amazing pieces to go with her outfits. "I love to raid her closet when I can." This, unfortunately, doesn't always work out because two have different physiques. "She's a lot tinier than me, so a lot of the stuff I try on, I'll stretch out".
In case you missed it, this led to a hilarious spat between the two ladies on Instagram. On her page, @candacebure, Candace wrote: "Why are you wearing my bralette?!!!! Every time I leave town --you take my stuff!!!!" Natasha had a cheeky response as she replied: "Chillllllll I was folding it for you @candacebure. Doing you a favor really." The two carried on with a number of messages, much to the delight of their followers. Of course mom and daughter hashed it out but I'm sure that won't be the last time they have a clothing war since they have similar fashion styles.
Cool Girls In NYC
Again these two manage to not only step out and look alike, but to also do so in style. The mother and daughter duo were in NYC on Mother’s Day and Candace seems to be very proud of her little one (Candace is on the left of the frame by the way). Her pride must have something to do with her daughter following her musical aspirations. Remember when she entered The Voice back in 2016?
Well, the teenager auditioned for the competition series and we got to see her sing the Elvis Presley classic “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You”. She was scooped up by Adam Levine who loved her voice and saw potential in her. “Your performance was self-assured. There was something there that was really different and special.” All this, while her mother was backstage, losing her mind with excitement.
You can certainly be forgiven if you forgot that she auditioned for The Voice and was once upon a time Team Adam. Her time on the show was short-lived as she was eliminated in the following episode. Nonetheless, her mom still stayed proud and excited about her daughter and made social media aware of that by posting a number of tweets.
Pretty And Professional
This is another image where one can be forgiven for mistaking the two for siblings, than parent and child. Natasha is on the right and she’s rocking her professional look with some eyewear on and a pulled back ponytail. Candace, on the other hand, is on the left and decided to match their navy tops and unlike her daughter, opting for a Gucci belt to draw emphasis on her tiny waist.
I can’t think of anything better than a mother and daughter duo who not only look alike, dress alike and go out in public looking fly together but, it’s also inspiring to see them do multiple things in the industry. Natasha seems to be inspired by her mother’s hard work as the young lady is a published author.
Natasha’s book “Let’s Be Real: Living Life As An Open And Honest You” was released when she was just 18 years and she shared her personal notes and stories as she navigates life through all that she encounters. So far, the young girl has been on The View, The Voice, has her own youtube channel, has done modeling and now she’s released a book. Anyone feel like an underachiever?
Same Makeup Artist?

I have already covered how the two dress similarly (sometimes even the same clothes but in different styles of course) and how they not only ask each other for fashion tips and advise, but little Ms. Natasha was outed on social media for stealing some of her mother’s clothing.
I have also covered how at times, they have the same hairstyle which further adds to us confusing the two ladies for sisters. I mean, you can dress the same, cut your hair the same and even smile the same as your mother but one thing that will definitely make you look more like sisters (or even the same person) is getting the same makeup done.
